Nutrition
I like to stress the importance of good nutrition in my office. The first most important aspect of good nutrition would be drinking an adequate amount of water. An easy formula to remember how much water you should have each day would be taking half your body weight and converting it to ounces. For example if you weigh 120 pounds you should consume a minimum of 60 ounces of water. Also room temperature water is much better for you then ice water.
Most people in the United States consume too much wheat which has been genetically mutated. I recently read a book that was written by physician called "Wheat Belly. This is an excellent book which I would recommend having in your personal library if you want to maintain good health and lose that tire around your midsection.
One other consideration is most people do not eat enough fresh fruits which are an excellent source of vitamins, minerals and fiber. The best way to eat fruit is on an empty stomach. I hope you find these tips helpful and I will continue to look for other ways to maintain a nutritionally sound and healthy body. Dr. Mosel
